Campanella’s Renton Home

Posted on by Sally Julien

We don’t usually work in Renton, but this awesome mid-century, architect-designed house made us change our mind quickly!  Felice (Felix) Campanella designed this as his own home in 1959 with forward-looking style, characterized by flat planes, large glass windows, and open spaces. Mr. Campanella designed numerous buildings in our region, including the Renton Library, which spans the 80′ Cedar River, a 1962 World’s Fair building, and numerous MCM churches and schools.

It definitely needs some interior modernization and love, but the bones are still original and still amazing.  We had a LOT of fun with this!
