Our client's roof has amazing views of the Space Needle and the Seattle skyline. It is also three flights of stairs up from the kitchen! As a result, we wanted to make this a self-sufficient sanctuary for them to entertain and enjoy themselves.
We expanded the available space by adding a composite wood deck where there was once a large planting bed. This houses their mini kitchen that has everything they want and need to entertain al fresco. The planters, comfortable seating, and giant Tucci umbrella (ask us over a drink sometime about how they got that up there!) finish off this space beautifully.
