What we collect, and why
Inquiry and quote forms. When you submit a form or send a request through the chat, we receive what you provide — typically your name, email address, phone number, property location, and project details. It goes to the Modernous team so we can respond, and is kept as an ordinary business record of the conversation.
The concierge chat. Chat messages are processed by an AI service (Google's Gemini API) via our server so the assistant can answer. Don't share sensitive personal information in chat. Your conversation transcript is stored only in your own browser for the duration of your session and disappears when you close the tab. Nothing is sent to the studio unless you press “Send to Modernous.”
Google's advertising tag. We advertise on Google, so our public pages load Google's advertising tag (gtag.js). It tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads visits the site or gets in touch, and lets Google show our ads to people who have visited before. To do that, Google may set cookies in your browser and receive details of your visit — such as the pages you view, your browser and device, and your IP address — under Google's privacy policy. You can turn off personalized ads in Google's My Ad Center or block cookies in your browser; the site works the same either way. Staff pages don't carry the tag.
Our own visit count. Separately, we count visits ourselves, in aggregate and on our own systems: the page viewed, the kind of site that referred it (a search engine, an ad, a social network, an AI assistant), and how quickly the page loaded — never your IP address, an identifier, or anything that follows you between visits or across sites. Apart from Google's advertising cookies, the only browser storage used is the strictly functional kind described above, plus sign-in credentials for Modernous staff.
Service providers
The site runs on ordinary infrastructure that processes technical data (such as IP addresses in server logs) to deliver pages: GitHub Pages (hosting), Cloudflare (chat and form processing), Google (fonts, AI processing and advertising), and Resend (email delivery). We do not sell your personal information, and apart from Google's advertising tag described above, we do not share it for advertising.
To prevent abuse, Cloudflare also keeps short-lived request counters keyed to a hashed IP address, separate from visit analytics. These counters expire after one to ten minutes. Staff sign-in uses a secure, HttpOnly cookie as well as the sign-in token described above; temporary code and attempt records expire within an hour of the latest request.
Your choices
Email info@modernous.com to ask what we hold from your inquiries or to have it deleted. The chat panel's Clear button erases your local transcript at any time.

If we change what this site collects, this page will be updated first.
